“My bike was stolen from South Kings Street, the Dunnes end of St. Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre [top]  at lunchtime. My friend borrowed it to run into the barbers for 20 minutes and when he came out, it was gone:(. One of the members of staff in Pearl saw it being taken. It was a one-year-old white Fuji road bike with dropped handlebars, and silver and blue markings [above]. I’m devastated needless to say! (as is my poor friend who borrowed it) Ughh..”

Pet owners downloading the free iOS app pay an annual subscription of USD 18 in order to keep their dog or cat registered on the PiP system, which holds details such as their name, location, size and gender, and most crucially clear images of the animal’s face.

That’s us out of ‘business’ so.

Found this iPhone in a puddle on Patrick Street [Dublin] this morning cycling into work. Unbelievably, it’s still working (bit cracked though). Looks like it fell out of a cyclist’s pocket. It has a passcode so I can’t get into it. Nobody has called it yet. Keeping it safe here for now. Hoping Broadsheet enthusiasts can help get it back to its owner.

Anyone?

envelopeWe have a toaster of yours.

Kidding.

Brendan Casey writes;

I know you don’t normally do this, but this morning I received a wedding card containing a significant present, that had been accidentally addressed to my flat.
There’s no return address on the envelope so I was hoping Broadsheet could help me get it to the intended recipients, newlyweds Grainne Kelly and Kevin O’Connor.
If whoever sent the card could get in touch with me via Broadsheet, mentioning the names written on the inside of the card, then I’d be delighted to return it to them.

bikeA Merida Big Nine.

Survived Africa.

Nicked in Blackrock.

Shane Gillen writes:

My bike – a Merida Big Nine TFS100 – was stolen from Blackrock [Co Dublin]  DART station over the weekend. They used acid to break through the locks.

I recently returned from an overseas leprosy-aid trip to Africa with my charity TASC, where we cycled 750km between different leprosy outcast villages and homes for the dying. This bike brought me safely across and through tough terrain and times, and so is hugely sentimental. It was gifted to me for the leprosy aid trip by Flanagan’s Cycles in Sligo. Desperately want it back, reward for its safe return. Thanks.

22-1024x1024Where have YOU Been?

Caoimhe,

Missing from Ballinteer, Co Dublin since Monday, September 30.

Nikki Brooks writes:

Folks she turned up tonight at the door…… ELEVEN DAYS LATER! I had many sightings around Ballinteer and Sandyford. I had maintenance men, taxi drivers and people I didn’t even know helping me and supporting me.
The human kindness offered was truly overwhelming and really incredible to experience I must say.
Caoimhe is currently munching her way through a few days of cat kibble and head bumping me very excitedly.

Stern words shall have to wait till morning ;) THANK YOU!
