Those fickle meteorologists are messing with our heads again.
Includes some good advice for Sunday night.
(More as we get it)
The Met say:
Some light showers this morning in parts of Connacht and Munster. Otherwise a largely dry day with a fair amount of cloud and some bright or sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees with moderate north to northwest breezes.
But that’s what they always say.
Well the Met say:
“Bright or sunny spells today and a scattering of showers, some heavy. Breezy with fresh Northwesterly winds and highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees.”
But that’s what they always say
Doesn’t that look like somebody is deliberately making the clouds sweep only over us and the sea? Jesus Christ. Can a country not get a freakin’ break around here?
But, hey, what of the ‘morrow? Well the Met say:
Rain will approach the west coast later this afternoon or this evening. Top temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees. Tonight the rain will spread across the country and become persistent. Nine and 12 degrees, coolest in the north. There will be just a light variable breeze and mist and fog developing.
Tomorrow, will be a brighter and fresher day with some sunny spells developing. The overnight rain will still affect the east coast and clear during the morning. There will be scattered showers, heavy especially in the east and north. Between 16 and 20 degrees and it’ll be breezy with moderate to fresh northwesterly winds.
But that’s what they always say.
Taken at 12 Noon today. No, us neither. But the Met say…
Saturday will be a fresh, breezy day with some bright or sunny spells. A scattering of showers will occur also and some will be heavy. Highest temperatures 16 to 19 in a blustery westerly wind.
Sunday will bring a few brighter spells but overall it’ll be fairly cloudy. Some showers or scattered outbreaks of light rain are likely also. Winds will be light, westerly turning northwesterly. Highest temperatures will range 16 to 20 degrees. Sunday night should be mainly dry with clear spells leading to some mist and fog patches. Bank holiday Monday will start dry with some sunny spells but it will turn cloudier from the west during the day.
