Trainman Blues is the brainchild of Irish blues artist Richard Farrell and Danish bass player and producer Laust “Krudtmejer” Nielsen.
Skulls, Crosses and Bones is taken off Trainman Blues’ first album, released on Danish label ‘Straight Shooter’ [and launched last night at Denmark’s hub for blues, Mojo Blues Bar in Copenhagen ahead of a European tour, with some irish dates].

David Kitt – I Still Don’t Know
First single from Yous, Dubliner Kitt’s first solo record in nine years released this morning.
They say:
The record was largely done by Kitt at his Dublin home, in a “teeny attic room” although old friend and collaborator, Karl Odlum, pops up, and Margie Lewis’s violin plays a crucial role throughout the record, as does Ireland, and more specifically, Dublin.
The city, surrounding countryside, and its inhabitants, are a constant thread throughout, giving the album the feel of a personal travelogue that spans two decades.

The Hot Sprockets – Cold Cold Sweat
Dublin’s The Hot Sprockets are Soper (guitar and Vocals), Tim (guitar and vocals), Frankie (harmonica, mandolin and organ), Joe (bass) and Andy (drum) playing a mixture of indie soul, pyschedelic blues, Afrobeat, country and rock ‘n’ roll.
Taken from the band’s third album, ‘Dream Mover’, which is launched at The Button Factory, Temple Bar, Dublin 2 on Saturday April 14.
