Trainman Blues is a 4 piece modern blues/roots band, soaking the rawness and simplicity of 50’s style blues with modern production techniques. Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, the band is comprised of Irish singer/guitarist Richard Farrell, Ronni Boysen on guitar (Kokomo king and Mud Morgenfield), Laust Nielsen (Blues Producer and Mojo’s in-house Bass player) and drummer Thomas Crawfurd ( Fried Okra Band).

SON – Our Mother Is Begging To Breathe

We stopped off in the middle of the Catskills mountains [New York State] on the spur of the moment and I decided to make a recording of this new song using the loop pedal….
Afterward, I felt compelled to incorporate a little slideshow explaining the song’s inspiration. Audio is distorted and far from perfect but I really wanted to share the raw material, flaws and all.

Here’s a taster of what to expect at the King Kong Company gig this Sunday at EP. It’s the new track, a slow building banger. It was recorded on the road over the last few months at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Townlands and Body & Soul.
