Earlier today we posted an item about new Attorney General Maire Whelan.
In it we wrote that she was married and “not bowling from the Pavilion end”.
The assumption being that people might think she was gay based solely on her appearance.
This was a stupid inclusion and we regret publishing it.
We know this has offended a number of people and we know why they were offended.
We are genuinely sorry.
Chuck Norris turned 71 today.
Turned it, punched it in the chest, then finished it off with a roundhouse to the head.
Some facts about Chuck Norris:
1. Chuck Norris doesn’t wear sunscreen, the sun wears Chuck Norris-screen.
2. There is no chin under Chuck Norris’s beard, just another fist.
3. There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of animals Chuck Norris allows to live.
