From Met Eireann

The weather will continue mixed but overall some pleasant summer sunshine to be enjoyed. Temperatures will reach the high teens or low twenties at times over the weekend with sunny spells. However some bands of cloud and rain will break through from the Atlantic with low cloud and drizzle and some outbreaks of rain resulting in poor weather conditions at times.

A group of Kermit-like puppets come to terms with the death of their creator in the only way they know how.

Written, directed and animated by Oury Atlan, Thibaut Berland and Damien Ferrié. Music by the Silberman Ochestra, Ornadel and the Starlight Symphony.

Haunting and adorable. You might just cry.

“Nancy Dell’Olio left a voicemail message for me.

‘Piers, darling, I am in Rome and thinking of you. I hope you have recovered after our night together. Let’s get together again soon, you naughty man. Love Nancy.’

Given that it was the Daily Mirror, under my editorship, which exposed Sven’s fling with Ulrika Jonsson after learning of a similar message left by the then England manager on her phone, I can only hope and pray the gutter press (ha ha) aren’t hacking into my mobile now…

More importantly, I seem to have the world’s most famous footballing mistress and the world’s most famous talent-show contestant, fighting for my affections. Could get tricky.”
