Securing the Irish market will enable Bulmers to compete at an international level. Although they have left the success of the Magners League behind them, it is clear that Bulmers have their sights set beyond Ireland and Europe.

Letters are organisms and typefaces are the species, all classified similar to biological taxonomy! I drafted this cognition in a chart for print and in order to prove my finding to the interested audience I took one step further. I surgically opened the letters S, Z, A, and W and how contented I was to discover muscles, veins, tendons and bone just like the ones shared by so many living creatures.

Craig Doyle was busy.
“Lost in Transition” is a compilation of short stories written by Transition Year students from Scoil Chaitríona in Dublin. The group came together in the creative writing centre ‘Fighting Words’ on Thursday afternoons from September — May and wrote, redrafted and edited their short stories, helped and encouraged by the Fighting Words volunteers.

Blackbuck (part of the antelope family): Parents Honey and Basil (above) welcomed their first newborn and the first ever newborn blackbuck to Dublin Zoo.
Tamworth Piglets: In the Family Farm, Ginger the Tamworth pig welcomed nine piglets, five males and four females. Eddie O’Brien, team leader of the Family Farm said, “During the first couple of weeks we kept a close eye on the one little runt of the pack as he was smaller and weaker than the others. There was no need to worry as we soon realised he is equally as fit and able as the rest of his siblings and never he misses a meal.” They’re going to call him Bertie.
Crested Macaque Since alpha male Sumo (far right top pic) arrived in 2009, these primates have welcomed five youngsters. Ciaran McMahon, team leader of the macaques said: “Male macaques are not monogamous primates and Sumo is enjoying great success with his six breeding females.”
