Taken yesterday evening from a great height. But where?
Yes. Cork harbour. An easy one. Really just an excuse to post James’s lovely photo.

Willie O’DJ ‘administering a yoke’ prior to ‘dropping a tab’, then taking bets with himself as to which will ‘kick in first’, as performed by the Rubberbandits and friends at a Meteor Camden Crawl 2012 event in The Village on Wexford Street, Dublin literally 90 minutes ago.
We have no idea what any of that means.
You had to be there. Were you?
(Thanks Oisin)
Piercing artist Dave Hurban – clearly no stranger to pain – drilled four holes in his own forearm and inserted magnets so that he could attach an iPod Nano as a strapless watch.
Yes, quite.

Ill Thraps – We All Get Nil Together
Harry Prendergast writes:
A group of Dublin musicians recently got together to form the ILL THRAPS, and write a song for Euro 2012. It’s never going to be #1, but we’re hoping to at least make people laugh. We would be massively grateful if you could put the YouTube video on your website!

It’s not photoshopped or colourised. It’s called ‘glass gem corn’.

Last week, the Oireachtas ‘tested plans’ to use the heavily fortified Dublin Castle as an ‘alternative venue’ in case of an ’emergency’.
Officials at the Houses of the Oireachtas have confirmed the exercise was part of its “business continuity management” plan in case the Dáil Chambers suddenly become unavailable.
The plan involves using the ceremonial rooms, such as St Patrick’s Hall, as a Dáil chamber, while connecting rooms could be used as temporary bases for political parties.
IT equipment has also been tested to see if it could replicate the computer systems used in Leinster House and print out official documents for the smooth running of the Dáil.
But what kind of emergency might prompt such a move?“It could be any unforeseen event,” said one official, declining to speculate further.
