By paying a small fee users can ensure that information they post on the social network is more visible to friends, family and colleagues. The tests are being carried out among the social network’s users in New Zealand.

Hmm.

A friend of mine makes speciality cakes in her spare time, although “makes cakes” is something of an understatement. I’ve been really impressed by her creations over the last year or so, but she sent me a picture of her most recent cake and it’s so goddamn nerdy I just had to send it to you. It’s the Iron Throne from Game of Thrones. Lacking a facebook or twitter account of my own, I can’t figure out how to actually SEND pictures to you, so I’ll just give you her facebook page link. It’s the most recent cake…

Relax!

It’s not what you think.

Richard Oakley (above) is cycling the Wicklow 200 on June 10 using a Dublin Bike in aid of Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital.

That’s 200 km on a course that takes in the Sally Gap, Wickow Gap and Slieve Maan – the equivalent of a mountain stage of the Tour de France.

All on a bicycle that feels heavier than a family saloon.

We wish him well
