No parking byelaws in Sligo villages such as Strandhill so the double yellow lines are just cosmetic unfortunately although parking on the pedestrian crossing is tomfoolery. I believe there’s an ice cream shop across the road, well know fact that Beemer Driver mainline ice cream on a Tuesday morning.

He’s probably thinking if I park on the ramp i’m not on yellow lines as they weren’t redrawn after the ramp was put in.. as for the pedestrians, let them eat cake.. or icecream.

And free to park anywhere warranty for up to the life time of the vehicle Sir. Muffle Wuffle Snuffle, now let me check my deep pockets, yus I’ll take it!, now where’s the nearest handy Capper Space?!?

In Germany, they quip “mit Vorfahrt eingebaut” about BMW’s and such cars.
