We pay him 70 grand a year to do very little but sure, let’s gift him a bike, why not.
Who came up with the idea of crowdfunding a bike for the Mayor of Dublin and who in their right mind would give their money to this? I suppose it’s a pull on his chain by cyclists in Dublin but the Lord Mayor should be the N°1 advocate for a safer and less polluted inner city, in line with other European cities.

Each Lord Mayor gets an annual brand-new mayoral car with the licence plate (year) D 1
Who pays for this?
Giving the mayor a bike is a great idea, a lot better than giving him a car.
