Tonight.
Custom House Square, Belfast.
More than 5,000 mostly unmasked, socially sardined ‘revellers’ at a concert by James Arthur (top) and Cork’s LYRA (pic 2) in the open air, without restrictions. This was the second event – following Tom Jones last night – in a series at Custom House Square that will attract over 30,000 music fans during the next few weeks.
Relax.
Our day will come.

The first night was headlined by Paul Van Dyke.. if you ever wondered if Belfast was a throwback..!!! That typed; nationalist Northern Ireland has had to create the notion of culture beyond a mural and a sash, and they are winning..
And you wonder why Northern Ireland has the highest transmisson rate in the Uk and Ireland……..
Full festivals everywhere else in the UK too. Despite them having a lower vaccination rate than Ireland.
Yet here we can’t even have 7 people at a pub indoors…
This sort of thing should be front page news – what exactly is the science behind us being so completely closed, compared to our nearest neighbour?
