Gulp.

This morning.

Meanwhile…

….via Football 365:

‘…It puzzles and angers many that in England so many footballers won’t get the jabs. While male footballers may not be massively different in numbers to any other young men in their 20s and 30s in their hesitancy to get vaccinated, with roughly 25% not interested, they are, in other ways, very different to us and this explains their anti-social choice.

….The body fascism that has berated and bullied women for not being the right shape and size since the dawn of time now also bullies men into being more well-built, more well-hung. Thicker, longer, harder, bigger. It is a mentality only endorsed and amplified by pornography. The internet generation has been raised with these values totally absorbed into their cultural DNA.

So every male footballer, having grown up with this hyper-physicality as part of their self-identity, is not divorceable from being a body-conscious physical specimen and this is what makes them susceptible to rumour and half-baked notion about vaccines making you impotent (why not ask someone who’s had it if they can still get hard?), or infertile (why not ask someone who’s had a kid in the last 18 months?), or grow an extra head (hey, actually that could be useful at defending near-post corners).

They’ll take any pill or needle if it facilitates better performance on the pitch (and is legal, obviously). So refusing one which will stop you being ill, or being as ill and helps stop others being ill too, shouldn’t be a great leap of understanding. But it is for some. It is, literally, mental.

The only thing impotent about anti-vaxxers is their naivety (John Nicholson, Football 365)

Referee, Trevor Moloney, abandoned the match in Hibernian Park, Burt, at half-time.

The Finn Valley side’s star forward had been having an outstanding game for his team, and had scored 1-3, when he appeared to go to the ground.

The young man was unable to get up and was attended to by officials and medical personnel before being helped to the sideline.

He remained there for about 15 minutes before an ambulance arrived.

    Nonsense, nonsense, nonsense.

People getting heart-attacks, including among elite athletes, have always occurred. There has been NO increase in the amount of these incidents since the pandemic started. If you can prove otherwise, then fair enough, promote away.

But you can’t prove it, because they’re not related, yet you persist in promoting this anti-vaxx nonsense.

    1. Cui Bono?

No one is saying that they’ve increased since the pandemic started. They’re saying they’ve increased since the vaccines came out.

It’s obvious to me as a big football fan that there’s been loads of incidents in the last few months both with fans in the stadium’s and footballers on the pitch and in training too.

Maybe it’s just a coincidence but it needs to be looked into and reported honestly.

      1. Peter

They haven’t increased since the vaccine came out. It’s just you think they have because of how it’s reported in anti-vaxx media.

    2. Kali

You could say the same for the pandemic. People dying from respiratory disease has always happened, particularly among the frail and elderly. There has been no increase in mortality since the pandemic began. If you can prove otherwise, then fair enough.

      Works both ways

LOL…everyone but John is susceptible to being manipulated…what a legend.
Nice that both sides are posted, clearly doesn’t suit some though.

    Fact check:
    https://www.factcheck.org/2021/12/scicheck-article-makes-unfounded-claims-linking-athletes-injuries-deaths-to-vaccines/

“Many U.S. athletes have been vaccinated against COVID-19 without any adverse effects. But a conservative outlet has cited a list of supposedly vaccine-injured athletes to claim “there may be something wrong with the vaccine.” There’s no proof that the listed athletes — most of them are actually retired — were harmed by the vaccines.”

The reluctance to get the vaccine among PL players is more to do with the high percentage of black players in the league than anything else.
It represents lower numbers overall amongst ethnic minorities in the UK – which is also why 25% of Londoners remain unjabbed.
Compare and contrast with other league vaccination rates.
Prem League :68% players double jabbed
    Ligue 1: 95%
    Bundesliga: 94%
    La Liga 92.8%
    Serie A: 98%

      1. Hank

        Dunno.
But according to official UK government figures earlier this year black professional footballers are represented in the biggest groups of reluctant vaxxers in the country.
More than 4 in 10 (44%) Black or Black British adults reported vaccine hesitancy.
This was the highest of all ethnic groups and around 1 in 6 (17%) adults aged 16 to 29 years reported vaccine hesitancy; this was the highest of all age groups.

Its all about media reports they’ve found online. To be fair they might have used Bing or DuckDuckGo.

            Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

            ahaha

            ha

you don’t even read the article/watch the videos you post; you look at the headline and post.

the “study” opened a single wikipedia article, counted the deaths in 2021 and the average in the previous few years and made an outrageous suggestion deaths were up 500%… LOL

Things like this have been happening way before Covid or vaccines. You just weren’t interested then. Didn’t suit your propaganda.

      1. SOQ

The question is if there is an increase in such issues or not. Even the vaccine manufactures now admit that heart damage can occur so is it not a reasonable question to ask?

          1. SOQ

And again with the personal poo questioning people’s motives- is that really how you interact with people in the real world?

Has there been an increase in such issues or not?

          2. Tom J

It is how I interact in the real world, someone starts talking poo, as you put it. Then I tell them to give it a rest and snap out of it. No one is forcing you to talk poo, just as no one is forcing you to take vaccines or any other medications.

          3. SOQ

Oh ok so you’ll be telling a million people on the streets of London on Saturday to give it a rest and snap out of it too I expect?

Or how about Madrid? Or Rotterdam? Or Brussels? Or perhaps all those protesting in the major cities in Australia?

          4. Tom J

I’m not a time traveler, so I won’t be in any of those places. But I’ll leave a message here for them.
Hey you guys, give it a rest and snap out of it. No one is forcing you to take any vacancies or any other medications you may need, should you end up in A&E. Enjoy your day.

        1. SOP

‘Has there been an increase in such issues or not?’
          No.
Can you explain why you cant understand this?

          1. SOQ

Because if there was, it would be covered up with the excuse of not encouraging ‘vaccine hesitancy’.

Why else is nobody addressing the documented injuries which are occurring? Yellow Card- EudraVigilance- VAERS- with record numbers of vaccine injuries and deaths being recorded.

          2. Nigel

‘Because if there was, it would be covered up’

When you assume that the reason the facts don’t agree with you must be a cover-up, but you hate to be called a conspiracy theorist.

          3. SOQ

If Government slanting or spinning things to suit their agenda then yes it is a conspiracy theory- one which has been ongoing from the day I was born- and well before that too.

For someone who claims to be so knowledgeable Nigel, you are on the far side of naïve, assuming you do actually believe what you type of course- which I doubt.

    2. George

One of the first examples referenced in that covid-denial site is Erikson who was not vaccinated.

This is just some guy Googling, it is not a study.

I googled “Real Time News Israel” and nothing comes up.

    3. tom2

Its the same every time. Nonsense “facts” presented. Quick look at the URL and its always some bollocks USPATRIOTDOCTORSFOR TRUTH.com

    4. SOCQ PUPPET

      @SOQ
Seriously, I honestly cannot believe that you are that stupid that you would trust any article from this website you link to (I mean that as a compliment, you seem to have some sort of basic intelligence).
10 seconds lad, 10 SECONDS it takes for anyone over the age of 18 (let’s say) and with some sort of dexterity/experience on the internet to see that that website is pure guff and its sole purpose is to grift cash in one way or another.
The page you linked to has a massive donate button in the corner ffs, seriously does that not ring any alarm bells for you?
Go to the homepage, how many ways are they trying to take your money? And what is their prime tool of persuasion? FEAR.
      WISE UP HAI
or at least go back and take a class in something that helps you decipher how certain parts of the web work and possible pitfalls. Wouldnt want to see you fleeced by an Israeli Queen who just needs a few quid to tie him over until his King kicks the bucket ;)
      Merry Xmas

      1. SOQ

Actually no- donate buttons mean the exact opposite to me because most of the real journalism being done is from those sort of set-ups.

Of course there are grifters, there always was- but the ‘legitimate’ sources have been so captured by government and /or Pharma these days that it really is up to volunteers.

  5. Tony

    Ah BS.

Yet another snide and irresponsible chunk of disinformation that you won’t be accountable for.

    *sad trombone sound*
