With the government due to consider ending the mask mandate at the end of February now is the time to pile on the pressure. We must get the mask mandate lifted for all the children and workers still forced to wear them every day.

Post a mask with ‘End the Mandates’ to

Mr. Stephen Donnelly,
Dáil Éireann,
Leinster House,
Kildare Street,
Dublin 2.

Post them to Donnelly Better still without a stamp ,I love it .Maybe this might be a way for the general public to show exactly the massive problem in the damage all this PPE is creating for the planet and possibly highlight the massive rip off the general public has had to endure by paying VAT on these items .
Maybe it’s time the revenue refunded the tax paid by the general public ,especially as inflation is out of control

And it’s mainly due to the situation in Ukraine and the non stop rhetoric of threats coming from both sides.
Are we actually to believe that the Russians are interested in invading a nation in the middle of a civil war and end up paying billions to keep the peace.?

We are all paying for this mainly due to massive increase in the price of oil and gas from Russia ,and the knock on effect that filters down in every industry.

If the west cork fishermen could of changed the mind of Putin navy then what the hell are our politicians doing.

For one I do not give a rats bottom about Ukraine but I give a rats arse about out people being ripped off by banks insurance utility companies etc.

    1. E'Matty

They are having a negative impact on the psychology of the nation. The subservient types don’t mind. Many fearful types quite enjoy having a mask to hide behind. The idea of masking children, the negative impact it has on their development, is unconscionable. Stop using kids as your human shields just because you’ve allowed yourself to be instilled with an irrational fear of this mild virus.

      1. No more Maura

Signed, sealed and delivered! If we can end this face tyranny one week earlier than planned it will be worth it all. No more using our children as human shields by those that are too scared of an imaginary killer virus. Spot on the money once again E’matty.
I seen an atrocious woman there recently, I dont know if you have ever seen the walking dead tv show, where they use the zombies to protect them from the other zombies, thats what your one was like, she had four kids on a leash and was walking them around like security dogs, yappin and scurrying about to keep the ‘virus’ away from herself, madness.

          1. No more Maura

Any recently with herself is too recently in fairness. Becoming all too common. Disgraceful carry on, dont think they were even her own children she had turned into the shields.

    2. Broadbag

No more using kids as human shields, except if they’re used as human shields on our side – putting a mask on them is child abuse but getting them to live out of a truck in the freezing cold for a week, maybe more, as part of a ‘freedom’ convoy is fine and dandy.

But yeah, won’t someone think of the children!!!???

      1. SOQ

Interesting how child welfare becomes an issue when it advances a certain political agenda eh? Conveniently ignoring the fact that while children are muzzled in schools, their parents can sit or stand in a pub every night of the week without them. This, the group who are the very lowest risk of CoVid-19 and to whom masks are doing the most harm.

I have asked this question before but on one seems to have an answer. In the UK, it transpired than there was no legal requirement for children to wear masks, so in certain schools the pupils just stopped, and there was nothing the schools could do about it. What is so different here?

        1. Broadbag

“Interesting how child welfare becomes an issue when it advances a certain political agenda eh?” Yes. That’s exactly my point, glad you’re keeping up. It happens on both sides.

I’m not ignoring anything, I don’t agree with masks in schools or truckers using their kids as pawns. People are very quick to use kids to further their agenda, but a kid wearing a mask isn’t ‘child abuse’ as has oft been spouted on here.

          1. paul

            +1

also anyone using the term ‘muzzle’ to refer to masks should consider binning their own personal echo chamber dictionary.

(for clarity, I don’t like seeing kids in masks either).

          2. SOQ

The difference is one is happening in Ireland while the other is somewhere else entirely.

Whataboutery does not hide the fact that muzzling children with no scientific basis is abuse- and that coercion is assault.

      2. K.Cavan

Ever seen the inside of a Canadian cross-continental truck, Broadbag? No, didn’t think so. They’re designed for journeys like Vancouver to Toronto, 3,300k. There’s Traveller kids living in far worse, 365 days of the year. The fact is, there’s plenty of houses in Ireland less well-equipped, so go back to watching your recordings of fantasy Covid Fear-Porn on RTE & don’t worry your wee head about it, you joker, you’re fooling no-one with your faux-concern, you’re probably in favour of experimenting on kids with toxic injections, for the craic.

        1. SOQ

They even have blow up castles and creches. Not to mention a number of wash rooms, toilets and saunas. And a full bloody menu of wood stove pizzas, barbeques and God knows what else cooking- all free- the local homeless have never been so well fed.

They are professional travellers after all, so extremely self sufficient.

But there are certain types of individuals who will parrot whatever propaganda and lies they are fed by the legacy media. If they were so worried about children’s welfare then they would not be injecting them with experimental gene therapies with no long term safety data.

        2. Broadbag

Hey SOQ, jump in here will ya, whole lot of whataboutery going on:

          What about the palatial trucks?
          What about Traveller kids?
What about the crap Irish houses (that are worse than trucks)?
What about my imaginary RTE recordings?
What about experimenting on kids, which I’m clearly in favour of???????????

Another quality rant from K.Cavan, frothing at the keyboard as per usual. Were you the one who was being ‘spiked’ by the vaccinated? Or the one who doesn’t believe there is a pandemic? Or the one who blames it all on satanists? Or all three perhaps? Hard to keep track of which loon is which.

          1. Chris

Yes the ‘pandemic’ – where they had to change the definition of the word, just like changing the definition of ‘vaccine’. And the sheep baa’d along.

          2. SOQ

It is so predictable how when challenged, the default tactic is to attempt to smear everyone with the most extreme ‘out there’ brush possible- while ignoring respected voices like Dr Peter McCullough?

          3. Broadbag

            ‘Whatabout’ Dr Peter McCullough!
‘Whatabout’ being accused of ‘parroting propaganda and lies’ – sounds almost like a smear?
‘Whatabout’ the suggestion I’m in favour of ‘experimental gene therapies’ for kids – sounds like a smear again.
‘Whatabout’ taking a long hard look in the mirror SOQ before trying to take the moral highground – so predictable when challenged you resort to this guff to try and shut down debate.

Also, K.Cavan and Chris have both stated they don’t believe in the pandemic in this very thread, so facts are now ”extreme, out there” smears in your twisted world?

          4. SOQ

You are the one throwing the muck here- no one else. It doesn’t wash anymore- people are fed up with the BS.

Oh and I don’t speak for anyone but myself.

  1. Doxxy Chainsaw

The same basement dweller who “organised” the hugely successful Belfast to Dublin trucker convoy?

I love the way these luders think Donnelly will be opening his own post.

  2. John

I would caution about engaging in this sort of protest.
Posting what could be viewed as medical waste to someone could get you into trouble. Just saying….

      1. andrew

I would imagine every right-minded person has a major issue with littering of any sort, including masks.

    1. K.Cavan

“What could be viewed as medical waste” would you ever get real, you silly, silly man. You Covidiots are really grasping at straws as your naive belief in your bizarre fantasy world is exposed as the childish joke it always was.

      1. Doxy Chainsaw

Speaking of bizarre fantasy worlds… are you still being followed by people trying to stick you with the vaccine?

      2. No more Maura

You tell em K, bit harsh but fair after all we have been through. What should be the next step, I have posted in a bunch of filthy masks I found on the street but am thinking now, it might be a bit pointless to our cause. What are you planning or what is the best way to proceed? I understand if you dont want to let the cat out the bag on here but you can e0mail me on maura828walsh@hotmail.com if you prefer. Kind regards Maura.

  3. K.Cavan

Tiny fibres from those masks constantly make their way into the lungs & remain there for the rest of the mask-wearers’ lives. They cause irritation, similar to an alergic reaction, creating scar tissue which reduces the uptake of oxygen & none of this ever heals, just gets worse over time. It’s at a low enough level that adults won’t be around long enough for it to cause problems but children will spend many decades with these fibres in their lungs.
Irish teachers, like many others, elsewhere, haven’t covered themselves in glory during the fake pandemic, showing little interest in the health of their pupils, just self-obsessive regard for their own childish paranoid fantasies about killer plagues.

        Here ya go K.Cavan,
        doxxy feel free to ignore…

“top German scientists have found that wearing certain types of face masks for long periods of time could result in potentially hazardous chemicals and harmful microplastics being inhaled deep into human lungs.

Professor Michael Braungart, director at the Hamburg Environmental Institute and co-founder of the world-renowned Cradle to Cradle environmental standard has told Ecotextile News that mask wearers unwittingly run the risk of breathing in carcinogens, allergens and tiny synthetic microfibres by wearing both textile and nonwoven surgical masks for long periods of time.

His recent findings have been backed up by another leading industry textile chemist Dr. Dieter Sedlak, managing director and co-founder of Modern Testing Services Augsburg, Germany in partnership with Modern Testing Services Global, Hong Kong who found elevated concentrations of hazardous fluorocarbons, formaldehyde and other potentially carcinogenic substances on surgical face masks: “I can only say 100 per cent that I have similar concerns to Prof. Braungart.”

        Also…

“Substances of concern in face masks…

The hygiene masks prescribed by the Federal Council can cause headaches and dizziness and irritate the skin and respiratory organs. All masks tested by the K-Tipp gave off sensitive pollutants.

The K-Tipp sent twenty hygiene and FFP2 masks available in stores to the laboratory. It investigated whether and, if so, which chemical substances outgassed from the mask material. This is important because these gases are inhaled when the masks are worn.

Result: The special laboratory found the highest amounts of volatile hydrocarbons (VOC) in FFP2 masks: These usually consist of thicker filter material than simple hygiene masks.”

          https://misbar.com/en/factcheck/2021/04/29/o-evidence-that-face-masks-contain-hazardous-chemicals
he Ecotextile News does not state for certain that the users of certain face masks are inhaling toxic chemicals or microplastics. Instead, the article states that there could be a risk of inhalation and that mask wearers are running the risk of breathing in carcinogens, which is not the same as stating for a fact that mask wearers are breathing in these substances. Also, the source article states that the risk may come from wearing the masks for “long periods of time,” without specifying or even estimating what a long period of time could be.

It may be that the two German scientists that Ecotextile News claims to have spoken to have discovered a potential health hazard due to wearing textile and nonwoven surgical masks for extended periods of time. But this cannot be considered a fact until their findings are published in a reliable source.

Additionally, it is worth highlighting the fact that the risk of wearing a textile or non woven face mask may be significantly smaller than the risk of contracting coronavirus. After all, a range of foods and drinks, are also considered carcinogenic, yet people continue to consume them.

Misbar??? bluffing with semantics Vs real life scientists and industry professionals who know exactly what their products are made of…

            Try harder.

          2. U N M U T U A L

            …the industry is the source.

They would know better than anyone the chemicals used in their industry… But I can see your playing the wilfully ignorant game, I get it now.

Good luck being the last mask standing…
You were born to wear it. :-)

          3. Doxxy Chainsaw

States nothing about how mask wearing will cause irritation, similar to an alergic reaction, creating scar tissue which reduces the uptake of oxygen & none of this ever heals, just gets worse over time

Misbar say about their methodology “ We are committed to being transparent about our sources. Whenever possible, we provide links to our sources so readers have access to – and can verify – the information we use to reach our conclusions.”

No such links in your linked article. You just never learn to research your sources, and end up displaying how easily led you are, time after time.

LUXEMBOURG – In June 2020, the manufacturer Avrox delivered a total of 15 million protective masks to Belgium. Citizens could get them there for free from the pharmacy.

Protective masks, which were delivered to Belgium in large numbers by the Luxembourg company Avrox, are potentially dangerous for those who wear them. According to a confidential report by the Belgian Institute for Public Health (Sciensano), the masks’ fabric contains nanoparticles that can be harmful to the wearer’s respiratory system if inhaled

“The Avrox masks contain nanosilver and titanium dioxide,” says a report by the television station RTBF . The silver particles are supposed to kill bacteria, the titanium dioxide is a bleaching agent. Dominique Lison from the University of Leuven explains that both substances can lead to severe pneumonia when inhaled: “Especially in people who already suffer from a respiratory disease. So also with Covid 19 patients.”

The Avrox company caused severe criticism in Belgium as early as June 2020 . The Belgian state had ordered a total of 15 million protective masks from the company for around 32 million euros. After the late delivery by Avrox, they were distributed to citizens free of charge. However, as it turned out later, Avrox delivered inferior goods that did not meet either Belgian or international hygiene regulations.

The manufacturer, which has settled in Luxembourg City, is not a company that looks back on a longer history. Avrox has been registered in the commercial register since 2017. The textile company was founded by Mohamed Yasin Al-Tahouni, a Jordanian businessman living in Malta, with seed capital of EUR 60,000.

Canada recalled millions of masks that were distributed to schools, transport workers and daycares by the government.

Health Canada has warned they may be toxic to the lungs after being urged to inspect the safety of the coverings.

The grey and blue masks are identified by the code SNN200642 and are from the supplier Metallifer.

Analysis found evidence of graphene nanoparticles shed by the masks.

If graphene gets into the lungs it can be dangerous as it is highly abrasive and durable, leading to some people saying they felt like they were breathing in cat hair.

Another mask made by another company is also under investigation.

‘Health Canada is currently reviewing data from two manufacturers of graphene-coated face masks to determine the safety and effectiveness of their devices, and will take appropriate action as necessary,’ said Health Canada spokesman André Gagnon.

Millions of masks were distributed in Quebec but people have now been told to ‘immediately store the boxes of masks in a secure and isolated location’.
