During the match of the 17th round of the Italian football championship between Roma and La Spezia, one of the fans had a heart failure in the stands, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
In the 30th minute of the first half, one of the Roma fans became ill – the 23-year-old fan had a heart failure. He received urgent help, he was resuscitated with a defibrillator and taken to the hospital. On the way, he had another attack.

On Saturday in Samara at the end of the Russian championship match Krylia Sovetov – Rubin one of the spectators felt bad. The doctors who arrived in time carried out resuscitation for half an hour, but could not save the victim’s life. According to preliminary data, a 50-year-old man suffered sudden cardiac arrest.

We obviously need an Erin Bronkovich type character to do some digging on the causes. potential causes:
1. Covid. ive direct knowledge of someone who got covid and has some heart swelling
2. covid vaccine (im not an anti-vaxxer just asking the question.
3. we all got unhealthy and lazy during the lockdown that there are going to be people that for with this unhealthiness broke the camels back.
im predicting this was caused by effects of covid on the heart.

Bodger, Russia has one of the highest mortality from heart attacks. Deaths by heart attack among Russian people aged 35-69 are 8 times higher than in Norway. The man was 50. 29.4% of deaths in Russia are from heart disease. Vaccination in Russia is believed to be below 50%.

If a fan dies at a large event of course there will be an investigation to make sure adequate health and safety measures were in place. Events like this have to be properly planned with people available to provide medical attention if required.
2.1million people died in Russia in 2020 and about 30% were heart attacks. They can happen anywhere and of course they sometimes happen at football matches where heart rates can be elevated during exciting moments.

By my count, in England in the last 3 months alone, there’s been at least 9 reported incidences of fans collapsing at matches and needing emergency treatment. It’s not a conspiracy to observe this and conclude that it’s over and above what would be considered normal in the English league during a 3 month period.
Some possibilities that I’m open to considering: Is it due to Covid? Is it due to the Covid vaccines? Is it a combination of those two factors or more? Is there something else going on? Are they all unrelated and it’s just a freak coincidence? Does it point to a problem in the wider population?
Is it possible to acknowledge the phenomenon and exchange thoughts about it without resorting to childish name calling?

Of course I’m not saying that these type of events don’t occur from time to time but for some reason you’re ignoring the key point I’m making: in just a three month period in English games alone there has been incidents over and above what one one consider normal. Why are you then citing examples from around the world over the period of a year as a counterargument?
The first link of yours I clicked on about an Arsenal fan didn’t occur in 2019 but the year before. Another link about an English fan in Bulgaria doesn’t fit the criteria of collapsing at a match. It was a late night incident in the city:apparently drug-related – he suddenly became raging and aggressive in the ambulance then later died.

This is absolutely mental stuff. Leaving out the 16 November one, I think these all relate to the English Premier League and Championship. So 44 teams total. There are 380 games in the premier league and 480 games in the Championship. Average Premier League stadium has about 38k seats, I’d say the Championship is about 25k seats. Let’s blend that at 30k for the sake of simplicity.
So in a season where there could be over eleven million “attendees” at matches (appreciating some people go to more than one match), lots of whom would be middle aged men – the prime suspects for cardiac issues, it would be a bit weird if there were no heart attacks. These are obviously being reported more in the media now because morons like you seem to be interested in it. In the past I don’t think “Middle-aged man takes ill at Luton match” was exactly the first item on the BBC news (because it’s not news).

He and the club released a statement shortly after (because of the bull poo in circulation) that he had NOT received the vaccine BUT had in fact recently recovered from covid.
