Broadsheet Judge of the Day Hall of Famer Martin Nolan has been moved from hearing criminal cases.
At the request of The President of the Circuit Court, according to yesterday’s Irish Mail on Sunday (not available online).
Judge Nolan will now preside in the Family Court in Dolphin House, Dublin.
Where he will no longer be subject to public scrutiny (as all cases are held in camera)..
And will be the first port of call for many domestic violence cases.
Yay.
