This afternoon.

Citywest, Dublin.

Des O’Grady from Castleknock celebrates receiving a free balloon on becoming the 100,000th vaccine recipient since the vaccination centre at Citywest opened on March 3.

The milestone shot was administered by Corporal Thomas Carew, of the Irish Army, lending the event a M*A*S*H feel.

Hang on. Des was promised a cupcake?

UPDATE:

YAY!

At around 11.30am this morning, in the Citywest Business Campus in Dublin 24, we found this beautiful husky dog who was doing his best to injure himself with cars, lawnmowers and climbing on buildings.

We managed to catch him and bring him to the Animal Hospital in Tallaght but unfortunately he has no ID on his collar and isn’t microchipped.

If his owner doesn’t get in contact I believe he will be sent to Ashtown dog pound, which would be heartbreaking for such a loving and friendly guy.

Anyone?

Right now over in city west the final preparations for The World Handball Championships are underway. They are kicking off tomorrow, this is an event that will get little or no coverage from the media even though there is expected to be 2000 players and over 3000 spectators from 30 different countries.
It would be great if you could shine a light on such a fantastic sport with a huge following here in Ireland and American and for a change Ireland is leading the way with champions like Paul Brady. who is competing for his fourth world title in a row.
