There have been less changes in some areas than I expected; the most noticeable being Parnell Street near today’s ILAC Centre.

This morning.
Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O’Brien goes for a stroll on Ballbriggan Beach before he announced the Dublin projects to be funded under ‘Call 2’ of the Urban Regeneration and Development Fund (URDF).
To wit:
✅ Dunsink Feasibility Study (@Fingalcoco) – €41,250
✅ Balbriggan Rejuvenation (@Fingalcoco) – €25.4m
✅Clonburris – supplementary strategic infrastructure for SDZ (@sdublincoco) – €176.6m
✅ Adamstown – supplementary strategic infrastructure for SDZ (@sdublincoco) – €9.7m— Darragh O’Brien (@DarraghOBrienTD) March 5, 2021
Meanwhile…
All of the South west inner city projects listed bar 2 are not new, they have been in the pipeline for years. Precinct & lighting improvements.
Finally getting confirmation of this funding is welcome but for the level of need in the wider area this is tip of the iceberg stuff.
