Yanar Dag (Fire Mountain) in Azerbaijan is a natural gas fire that burns continuously on a hill of the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea. The gas emanates from vents in the sandstone formations of the area and can even be ignited on the surface of nearby streams, known as Yanar Bulaq (burning springs’).
A fire in Bowes [corner of Fleet Street and D’Olier Street, Dublin]. Fire brigade entering through Ladbrokes.
Declan Bruton adds:
Just been evacuated from Bowes. It’s on fire. Huge response. Classic Irish reaction – we took our pints out (through choking smoke) and stood outside – then saw flames leap up from the basement. Crazy.

Car On Fire (2013).
Directed By KomandantLuskene who sez:
A parked car went on fire [Ashbourne, Co Meath], then seconds after the fire brigade arrived the handbrake finally went, and it rolls down the road nearly hitting a Garda car and the bus I was on. Fair play to the firemen running in front of it to stop it, I could feel the heat from inside the bus.
