A stunning Google-flavoured timelapse of the teeming Malaysian capital involving “5 months, 400 hours of solid work, 4 cameras, 40 shoots, 640 gigabytes of data and 19,997 photographs” by photographer Rob Whitworth, who sez:
Kuala Lumpur: super-modern buildings juxtaposed with various cultural enclaves and with a little of Asia’s chaos thrown in. My time lapse explores how the city changes from day to night highlighting how spaces dramatically alter during the course of a few hours.

Using projection mapping onto street furniture, performance artist a dandypunk travels through various fantastical worlds, interacting with strange characters and treacherous landscapes, in the hope of unfolding the secrets and learning the techniques from the ancient book of “The Alchemy of Light”.

Flickr user Jason Hull converts cameras from the 1950s and 1960s (of the mass-produced plastic variety) into these nifty nightlights. He doesn’t appear to be selling them at present, however, which is a bit of a tease.
