This morning.

Storm Ali caused damage at the Ploughing Championships in Screggan, Tullamore, Co Offaly.

Organisers are assessing the damage to the site and, as of 10.30am, they said the event will open at 12 noon.

VIP cows arriving from Co. Dairy Derry at the National Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska, Co. Laois under garda escort on Friday.

They’re attending the championships to demonstrate the Lely Astronaut A4 robotic milking machine.

They love the attention, in fairness.
