Skoda Ireland has announced it will be the official “car partner” to the World Meeting of Families 2018 and the Papal visit.

When Pope Francis arrives in Dublin he will be transported in a Skoda Rapid (above).

Three identical Rapids have been reserved for the event; each one customised to individual requirements.

Modified glass has been installed for improved visibility, each vehicle has been provided in a custom navy-blue colour by request and chrome flag poles have also been installed to  to the passenger-side fenders, which will display the Vatican flag…
