Derry’s SOAK (Bridie Monds-Watson) stops off in Dublin tonight at the Button Factory on her European tour to promote her excellent sophomore album ‘Grim Town’.

Now living in Manchester, England and signed to the legendary Rough Trade label, SOAK (top) channels New Order and Robyn on the knock-out ‘Knock Me Off My Feet’.

But get to the Button Factory early tonight to catch Pillow Queens (pic 2), a local four-piece led by Finglas singer Sarah Corcoran, whose new single ‘How Do I Look’ (above) suggests a bright future for the budding monarchs of Irish rock.

Nick says: With this double-bill, Dublin is not so grim.
