John Poulos, the CEO of Dominion Voting Systems, used in 28 states during the US Presidential Election, will take questions from legislators at 6pm (Irish time).

He may be asked about a forensic audit in one county revealed yesterday that alleged Dominion’s system “is intentionally and purposefully designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results.”

YouTube announced that it will begin removing any content alleging widespread voter fraud influenced the outcome of the 2020 US presidential election.

Via YouTube:

“Yesterday was the safe harbor deadline for the U.S. Presidential election and enough states have certified their election results to determine a President-elect.

Given that, we will start removing any piece of content uploaded today (or anytime after) that misleads people by alleging that widespread fraud or errors changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. Presidential election, in line with our approach towards historical U.S. Presidential elections.

For example, we will remove videos claiming that a Presidential candidate won the election due to widespread software glitches or counting errors.

We will begin enforcing this policy today, and will ramp up in the weeks to come. As always, news coverage and commentary on these issues can remain on our site if there’s sufficient education, documentary, scientific or artistic context.”

Dominion Voting Systems has responded to allegations in lawsuits from lawyer Sidney Powell challenging the US general election 2020 results in Georgia and Michigan and accusing the company of being part of “massive election fraud”.

The suits claim the software orginated in Vanezuala to help Hugo Chavez retain power and  “was accessed by agents acting on behalf of China and Iran in order to monitor and manipulate elections.”

Via Business Insider:

Dominion Voting Systems said the fact that it was founded in Canada is a matter of public record, and it denied any connection to Venezuela or Chávez.

It also said the manipulation Powell described was not possible — “not on a machine-by-machine basis, not by alleged hacking, not by manipulating software, and not by imagined ways of ‘sending’ votes to overseas locations.”

But even if it were possible, it would have been discovered in the statewide handcount of votes,” it said.

‘Dominion is not, and never has been, owned by Smartmatic. Neither has Smartmatic ever been a subsidiary of Dominion, as the complaint asserts. Dominion is an entirely separate company—they do not collaborate in any way and have no affiliate relationships or financial ties. Dominion does not use Smartmatic. These are all facts verifiable in the public record as well as in regulatory and legal filings.’

Joe Biden delivers a Thanksgiving address at the Queen Theatre yesterday in Wilmington, Delaware, USA

Biden on Wednesday delivered a Thanksgiving address in Wilmington, Del., calling on Americans to unite in protecting their communities as they celebrate the holiday this year amid the raging coronavirus pandemic.

Minutes earlier, Trump called in from the White House to an informal meeting of Pennsylvania lawmakers, repeating baseless claims about the election being “rigged.”

“This election has to be turned around,” Trump said

Joe Biden will give a speech later today highlighting the challenges facing Americans as the Thanksgiving holiday approaches and the nation faces a surge in coronavirus infections and a wave of unpopular health restrictions.

The address is meant to encourage Americans and focus on the sacrifices they are making during the holiday season, his office said, as officials across the country plead with Americans to stay at home and avoid large gatherings that can spread Covid-19.

Lou Dobbs on Fox Business.

US President Donald Trump’s attorney Sidney Powell said the Trump camp is pressing forward with legal action targeting election officials as they certify the 2020 results in several key battleground states that have been called for Democrat nominee Joe Biden.

Earlier, Powell appeared with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and other members of Trump’s election legal team at a chaotic press conference to allege a plot by his opponents to “rig” voting machines in the presidential election, ‘delivering’ the race to Biden…

“Are you pressing forward with legal action against them for those violations?” Dobbs asked, referring to two specific voting machine companies, Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic.

“Not against the company and the software,” Powell responded. “But the suits will be against the election officials to invalidate the results of the election and force it to the legislatures and the Electoral College and then the Congress if necessary.”

Before the warning, Powell asserted that Dominion and Smartmatic are “inexplicably intertwined.”

Trump allies have also claimed that Smartmatic owns Dominion, but there is no evidence a partnership exists between the two. Both companies say they do not collaborate with each other in any way.

Meanwhile

Ms Powell was asked about servers that were reportedly confiscated in Germany.ook

Lou Dobbs: “There have been great controversy as you know about the reports on a raid on a company Scytl in Germany which held election data presumably… Can you tell what actually did happen there and what you do know?”

Sidney Powell: “Well I know that is one of the server centers. There is also one in Barcelona. So it is related to the entire Smartmatic-Dominion operation. We do not know whether the good guys got the servers or whether the bad guys go them. Being on the outside of the government we simply don’t know. I’m hoping it’s the good guys and if they have that then there should be scads of evidence of frankly an international criminal conspiracy of the worst sort.”

Lou Dobbs: “And the presumption then is that they had the records on those servers of all of the votes that were processed by Dominion or Smartmatic.”

Sidney Powell: “Yes, the way it works is either the votes can be changed on the ground as they come in. People can watch the votes stream in live. For example there was a Dominion employee, high up, at the Detroit Center on the night of the election. He could have watched the votes come in live and manipulated them in that process. It could have run an automatic algorithm against all the votes which we believe is what happened originally and then the machines had to stop and the count had to stop in multiple places because President Trump’s lead was so great at that point that they had to stop the vote counting and come in and backfill the votes they needed to change the results.”

From top: The US Election as called by Associated Press and other news outlets; Deadlines for election counts in disputed states.

This morning.

A state by state guide and deadlines for the final counts in the US Presidential Election.

Via Reuters:

Arizona:

The case: The Arizona Republican Party is trying to block the certification of the election results in the state’s most populous county, Maricopa, until the court rules on the party’s lawsuit asking for a new hand count of a sampling of ballots. An audit already completed by the county found no discrepancies, officials said.
What happened: The judge has not issued a decision. A hearing in the case is scheduled for Wednesday.

Georgia:

The case: A high-profile conservative attorney, L. Lin Wood Jr., has sued in an attempt to block the certification of election results in Georgia. Wood alleges Georgia illegally changed the process for handling absentee ballots. Georgia’s deputy secretary of state has called Wood’s case a “silly, baseless claim.”
What happened: A judge has scheduled a hearing for Thursday to consider a request for a temporary restraining order to halt certification.

Michigan:

The case: Trump’s campaign is trying to block the certification of election results in the state, alleging that election officials “allowed fraud and incompetence to corrupt the conduct of the 2020 general election.” Trump’s legal team alleges that their observers were prevented from being able to properly watch the vote counting, that ineligible ballots were counted and that Republican challenges to ballots were ignored. Another lawsuit filed this week on behalf of two poll challengers asks a court to halt the certification of election results until an independent audit is completed to “ensure the accuracy and integrity of the election.”
What happened: There have been no decisions in either case. Judges have already swatted down several other Republican efforts to block certification in the Detroit area. Wayne County, which is home to Detroit, unanimously certified its election results on Tuesday, hours after Republicans first blocked formal approval of voters’ intentions – although they appear now to be rowing back on that.

Nevada:

The case: Trump’s campaign is asking a judge to nullify Nevada’s election results or set them aside and declare him the winner, arguing that illegal or improper votes were cast and the use of optical scanning to process signatures on mail-in ballots violated state law. The Trump lawsuit, filed Tuesday, rehashes arguments that judges in Nevada and elsewhere have already rejected. It claims that votes were cast on behalf of dead people, that election observers weren’t allowed to witness “key points” of processing and that people on American Indian territories were illegally given incentives to vote. In a separate court filing this week, a voting watchdog group led by a conservative former state lawmaker wants a judge to block statewide certification of the election.
What happened: There have been no rulings in either case.

Pennysylvania:

The case: A Trump campaign case aims to stop the state from certifying the election, alleging Philadelphia and six counties wrongly allowed voters to correct problems with mail-in ballots that were otherwise going to be disqualified for a technicality, like lacking a secrecy envelope or a signature. The total number of affected ballots was not expected to come anywhere close to Biden’s margin of more than 80,000 votes.
What happened: Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, signed onto the case this week after others abruptly withdrew, and the former New York City mayor argued in court on Tuesday for the first time since the 1990s. Giuliani made wild, unsupported allegations of a nationwide conspiracy by Democrats to steal the election. The judge did not immediately issue a ruling and canceled a hearing that was set for Thursday but set out a schedule for both sides to make new filings this week.

Wisconsin:

The case: Trump’s campaign on Wednesday filed for a recount in the counties that cover Milwaukee and Madison, both Democratic strongholds. It alleged — again without evidence — that absentee ballots were illegally altered or issued and that government officials violated state law.
What happened: Biden leads Trump by 20,000 votes statewide. The recount requested by Trump will begin Friday and has to be complete by 1 December, the deadline for the vote to be certified at the state level. State and local elections officials reiterated that there was no evidence to back up the claims Trump was making.

“Drop and Roll” — How The 2020 Election Was Stolen From President Donald Trump (Gateway Pundit)

This morning.

Via The Guardian:

About half of all Republicans believe President Donald Trump “rightfully won” the US election but that it was stolen from him by widespread voter fraud that favored Democratic President-elect Joe Biden, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll.

Asked why, Republicans were much more concerned than others that state vote counters had tipped the result toward Biden: 68% of Republicans said they were concerned that the election was “rigged”, while only 16% of Democrats and one-third of independents were similarly worried.

Chris Krebs was fired last night as Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency

In recent days, Krebs has repeatedly pushed back against false claims that the election was tainted. Earlier on Tuesday, he tweeted a report citing 59 election security experts saying there is no credible evidence of computer fraud in the 2020 election outcome.

Trump fired back on Twitter later in the day. He repeated unsubstantiated claims about the vote and wrote: “Effective immediately, Chris Krebs has been terminated as Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.”

Sky News host Alan Jones said he suspects the Trump team is in the process of gathering “irrefutable evidence of criminal collusion” in the fallout of the US election.

He said under an Executive Order of 2018, signed by US President Trump, the government has the power to arrest and seize the assets of any organisation or individual who attempted to alter the result of the 2020 election.

Mr Jones said.

“This Trump Executive Order about rigging elections, which he signed into existence on September 12, 2018, means clearly that the net can be cast very wide,”

Yesterday, US attorney Sidney Powell, who is part of Donald Trump’s legal team said, “this is a massive election fraud” and that she was very concerned it involved “Dominion and its Smartmatic software” used to count votes in the US election.

Election officials in Georgia’s 159 counties are undertaking a hand tally of the presidential race that stems from an audit required by state law.
The law requires that one race be audited by hand to check that the machines counted the ballots accurately, not because of any suspected problems with the results. Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger chose to audit the presidential race and said the tight margin — Democrat Joe Biden leads Republican President Donald Trump by 14,000 votes — means a full hand count is necessary.

The final numbers in the audit count will almost definitely be slightly different than the numbers previously reported by the counties but the overall outcome should remain the same, said Gabriel Sterling, who oversaw the implementation of the state’s new voting system for the secretary of state’s office.

Amid a razon-thin purported lead by the Democratic candidate in some key swing states, and Republicans questioning the legality of the voting, Dominion Voting Systems has found itself in the eye of the storm.

Dominion, originally a Canadian company that is now headquartered in Denver, makes machines for voters to cast ballots and for poll workers to count them. It also produces the software that helps government officials both organise and keep track of election results.

US President Donald Trump’s campaign attorney demanded recounts in every state that used the company’s software (at least 28 states), after it was revealed to have wrongly given 6,000 votes to Democrats in the Michigan county of Antrim, with a “glitch” being stated as the reason.

“If 30 states have used the software and there’s already proved to be a glitch of 6,000 votes in one balloting area… lawyers should be… demanding a manual recount,” said Jay Sekulow, a member of President Donald Trump’s legal team.
