I know you dont normally do this, but my co-worker’s bike was taken from her, out of her hands, in the Lidl Carpark in Ballyfermot [Dublin 10] on Monday evening. The bike is a Giant Liv Avail 5 (as above)
I wouldn’t email only that she is doing a charity cycle (Maracycle from Belfast to Dublin) for the elderly this week. Was anyone around there on Monday? Stolen right out of her hands by two teenagers, a new low…

Anyone?

Three guys and a nicked bike, still had a lock attached around the bottom bracket. Followed them from Clarendon St to Stephen’s Green at 17:45. Think they were heading in the Leeson St direction. Cops were called and description given….bike returned to owner and lads nicked….

Four months ago, our world fell apart when I gave birth to our stillborn son Seán. The midwife who did the last check of Seán while he was alive gave us this bear (above) for Seán as she was as devastated as we were by his unexpected death. Seánie bear kept Seán company in his moss basket when we brought Seán home and is my little reminder of Seán when my arms ache as I can no longer hold my son.

Over the last four months, Seánie bear has travelled around to various places to honour his buddy Seán, and hopefully if we are fortunate enough to have another child, will help them understand they’ve a big brother looking after them. But (a bit like his Mum), he’s an independent spirit and has decided to go on a solo adventure and we need help tracking him down.

Seánie bear was last seen on Monday at 5.30pm after the Women’s Mini Marathon in a black Titleist backpack bag which was placed in the boot of a 2003 Silver Avensis Taxi on a trip from St Stephen’s Green taxi rank to Stillorgan luas stop (we missed the luas by seconds so four of us decided not to wait the 10mins in the pouring rain for the next).

Another North Face bag belonging to Lisa Wix was also in the boot along with her wallet and phone. From memory we think the taxi driver’s name was Dalton (fairly sure surname) – lovely chatty Irish man, early 50’s with longish grey hair. Do you know this man? Can you help us find him and his precious cargo?

Anyone?

UPDATE: Teddy and driver located (see comments)

Me fella lost his glasses while cycling a Dublin Bike from Stephen’s Green to Portobello [this morning]. He’s combed the route but maybe someone picked them up and handed them in somewhere? Smallish, square lenses, black frame along the top. Sorry no pic, but glasses is glasses is glasses, ya dig? Help him recover his (20-20) vision!

Anyone?

I know you don’t normally do this but my fiancé’s two bikes were stolen from a storeroom in his office in Sandyford [Dublin 18]. The theft occurred in the last week. One of the bikes is a Paganini men’s racer (top right), red and yellow with brown bar tap and chrome forks.
The other is an Affinity fixed gear bike , we don’t have a pic so (above) is a picture of the same model except the bike is dark grey in colour with white straight bars, a black brooks saddle and red tyres. Any help much appreciated. Thank you
