Right, here’s some vaguely similar analysis from another New York institution.

Prior to his Belmullet boozathon, Brian Cowen cut the ribbon on a new medical centre in the town. This is how The Western People of July 21 reported the event.

WITH the Opposition (not to mention the media!) giving him a headache, An Taoiseach Brian Cowen made the long journey to Swanick’s medical centre in Belmullet at the weekend for some pain relief…..“This is a wonderful day for medicine and for the community,” added Mr Cowen, whose visit to Belmullet had not been announced as part of an official itinerary.

Roughly 12 hours later he was carried to bed.
