Jerry Seinfeld was on WFAN’s “Boomer & Carton” show yesterday, above, and was asked about recent photographs of him and former Seinfeld co-star Jason Alexander walking past Tom’s Restaurant in New York – which was one of the show’s locations.

The sighting prompted rumours that they were either shooting a Super Bowl commercial or filming for Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee series.

Seinfeld said: “It’s neither. But it is not not those things, either. It’s a secret project.”

A game of 20, or so, questions with the Boomer & Carton hosts ensued, including the following:

B&C: “Was it filmed?”

Jerry Seinfeld: “Yes it was. It was filmed.”

B&C: “Were other Seinfeld characters involved?”

Seinfeld: “Yes there were.”

B&C: “Was it a short-form or a long-form filming?”

Seinfeld: “It’s a short-ish form.”

B&C: “Was Jason Alexander playing George or himself?”

Seinfeld: “George.”

B&C: “Was Larry David involved?”

Seinfeld: “He was involved.”

B&C: “Was he on camera?”

Seinfeld: “No.”

B&C: Was his voice heard?

Seinfeld: “No.”

B&C: When will we see this?

Seinfeld: “Very, very soon.”
