A short film by Jacob Sutton featuring Artec pro-snowboarder William Hughes at Tignes in the Rhône-Alpes in a customized suit covered in LED lights.

“I was really drawn to the idea of a lone character made of light surfing through darkness,” says Sutton of his costume choice. “I’ve always been excited by unusual ways of lighting things, so it seemed like an exciting idea to make the subject of the film the only light source.

This is at the cafe inside the Memphis Zoo. The manager of the cafe told me that the alpha male monkey noticed me the second I walked in the door and started going crazy, because, as the alpha male, he feels threatened by tall males. Now you can have it…

The mansion is located in Holmby Hills, lesser known but more exclusive then neighboring Beverly Hills or even Bel Air. It was part of the divorce settlement between Texas billionaire David Sapperstein and his wife Suzanne. In 2008, David abandoned his wife for their 32-year-old Swedish nanny and now Suzanne is sharing the mansion with her 33-year-old former soccer playing boyfriend until it is sold.

Inspired by Versailles, the 35,000 square foot house is called Fleur de Lys. It has 10 rooms, 12 bedrooms, 15 baths, a ballroom, marble walls, limestone floors, two kitchens, a 50-seat screening room, a nine-car garage, and a three-bedroom caretaker’s house.

The price? A mere snip at $125,000,000.

Festival Director Grainne Humphreys described ‘Cloudburst’ — the tale of two elderly lesbians who escape from a rest home to marry in Canada — as “beguiling as its lovely title suggests”.

However, the 66-year-old film’s lead actress was telling it straight as usual. “It’s a flawed little film. We had no money. There are things wrong with it, we hadn’t enough time — the usual thing but I think it works,” Brenda [Fricker] admitted.

It certainly does, starring Fricker and Olympia Dukakis, as lovers Stella and Dot, ‘Cloudburst’ has been racking up film awards around North America since its release last autumn — most recently winning Best Canadian Film Award at the Edmonton International Film Festival.
