The car turned into the car park of a church and the driver, Mr Hegarty got out and ran from gardaí

…but Garda Cillian Barry gave chase and saw the man jump over a wall of the church yard and run to a derelict area where he found him hiding in bushes.

Garda Barry said he detected a smell of alcohol from Mr Hegarty and noticed his speech was slurred.

…and he brought him back to the garda car where he asked him to provide a sample of his breath. Mr Hegarty blew into the breathalyser and failed, leading him to arrest Mr Hegarty…

 

What happened next?

He got off on appeal.

These clips were all processed from their original form, into the kaleidoscopic visuals that you see in this video. Many people visit these large cities every day, and all of these places have been shot and filmed, but I wanted to emulate these urban landscapes in a way that nobody has even seen before. I wanted to put man-made geometric shapes, mixed with elements of color and movement to create less of a structured video, and more of a plethora of visual stimulation.

Two employees of the Passport Office have been arrested as part of an investigation into passport fraud.

It follows investigations by the Department of Foreign Affairs and gardaí.

The Passport Office launched an investigation in May after internal checks revealed irregularities regarding two passports that were being issued.
