This old thing?

The launch of Fine Gael TD Mary Mitchell O’Connor’s annual appeal urging female TDs and Senators to donate ‘professional clothing’ to Dress for Success.

Dress For Success helps women to enter or return to the workforce by “providing free care advice and clothing for interviews”. The not for profit was founded in 2011 by Sonya Lennon and in the last two years it has helped almost 700 women in Dublin.

What you may need to know:

1. It’s a new David Fincher movie. Nice.

2. It’s based on the bestselling novel. They changed the ending.

3. It stars Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike. Oh, and Tyler ‘Medea’ Perry.

4. The vibe is best described as ‘suitably Fincher-esque’.

5. Broadsheet Prognosis: It looks good but we’d be more excited if The
Rock was in it. NB: This applies to approximately 98% of all motion
pictures released today.

We promised to keep you up to date with developments concerning Lego the duck.

Lego was lightly crisped during an attempt by fiendish tykes to cook him on a “hot stove”.

Well…

Dublin SPCA write:

“Fantastic news! Lego our not so Little Duckling who came into us over a month ago went off to his new home on Saturday. Here’s a very cute video of him (above) having a paddle in the sun…”
