This afternoon.

Merrion Street, Dublin 2.

A march from the Custom House to the Department of Finance by Community Employment (CE) Supervisors and their supporters over pensions.

A total of 1,200 CE scheme supervisors have been overseeing 900 state funded services for almost 30 years but do not count as public sector workers.

No sympathy for them as their “clients” have no future of no real job from these forced labour schemes.

WTAF are SIPTU doing organising ANOTHER protest while there is no government???
Last week they had the Childcare workers out protesting against the state and not their actual employers.

BTW this should signal to private sector workers just how unbelievably unfair and expensive public sectors pensions are. Thats the real wealth divide in this country.
