To the people of Ireland…
A satirical swipe at Amnesty International by Youth Defence.
Destiny Herndon-DeLaRosa writes:
“When Amnesty International isn’t busy fighting for the rights of pimps and johns by trying to legalise prostitution, they’re working tirelessly to stop the very worst terrorists among us and the greatest threat to all human rights: babies. Little tiny babies. Specifically, by lobbying to legalize abortion, or “abertion” as they call it, in Ireland.”
Gulp.
A journalist must inquire why,
Comrade Jeremy wore a red tie,
And ask it twice then,
Simply ask once again,
For a tie often covers a lie.

Dark streaks apparently coming from the Garni crater on Mars
Like everywhere up there in space,
Mars ain’t a hospitable place,
But now they’ve found water,
I feel that they ought to,
Land cosmonauts right on its face.

Phoenix Park, Dublin during the 1979 Papal visit
Paint everything yellow and white,
Because much to Iona’s delight,
We’ll soon have a guest,
Who’s simply the best,
And will set our poor country to right.

If you have to tell a big lie,
And you’re worried your story won’t fly,
Give the toilet a miss,
Hold on to your piss,
They’ll believe you, though no one’s sure why.

Stop Out-Of-Control Drinking campaign chairperson Fergus Finlay
Some do-gooders said they’ll refuse,
To try to ban adverts for booze,
At matches and shows,
As they all suppose,
That one can’t let the GAA lose.

The Red Haired convention in Crosshaven, Co Cork this Summer
Some anaesthetists recently said,
That it matters what grows on your head,
You need more lignocaine,
To cancel the pain,
If what’s under your hat is all red.

The Mail have a front page grand slam,
Saying Dave used to snort the odd gram,
But if that’s the truth,
It was all in his youth,
Just like his great fondness for ham.

A 3D impression of an ultra thin ‘invisibility’ cloak made of nanoantennas
In America some clever folk,
Have invented a curious cloak,
That fiddles with light,
To cover the sight,
Of the curves of an overweight bloke.
