Going to the Castres game at the RDS tomorrow?

Will you be filming?

FanFootage (the Dublin bred start-up that ingeniously syncs fan videos with decent audio) wants YOU.

Cathal Furey writes:

Leinster Rugby are looking fans to film their match-day experience at the Castres games in the RDS tomorrow and upload their videos to FanFootage? Here’s what the last Leinster Rugby FanFootage video turned out like:  (a much warmer Ballsbridge for the PRO12 final last May)

Fanfootage is starting to get a lot of interest from sports clubs and leagues worldwide looking to tap into the potential of harnessing fan-shot videos at sports events. It would be great if the lovely Broadsheet.ie community helped spread the word about this and got involved themselves, so we’ll have a great case study to land a small Irish startup those crucial international deals and employ some more people here in Dublin.

Bob Coggins writes:

“Have a wee look at this and see what ya think – we made it here a few weeks ago about a lad who broke into the Leinster team after coming back from breaking his leg and almost giving up rugby 2 years ago. He made his debut earlier this season for Leinster Rugby”

Fair play in fairness.

For the weekend that’s in it,

Horgan! D’Arcy! Cullen! O’Connell! O’Gara! O’Driscoll! Other People!

All locking horns in the Celtic League final at An Sean Bóthar Lansdún on 15 December, 2001.

Carnage ensued.

The Irish Times reported the following Monday:

“When we look back at this one it could turn out to be a seismic day. Rumours of Munster’s impending demise may be a tad premature, but notions of Leinster’s emergence as a real force in Irish and European rugby were confirmed by this memorable win. Hallelujah. Leinster have come of age…”

FIGHT!

Fupp YES! NEVER

We have TWO ‘posh’ seats to give away for Friday night’s game in the RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin to see Leinster play Zebre.

Sadly It may be Brian-less.

Aaron informs us:

“I can’t see any of the lads [Irish team members] being in the squad, Brian O’Driscoll probably will be just sitting in the stands. Madigan may start though.. O’Driscoll will be starting v Toulon (down there) in the HCUP beside the fresh faced Dorce on April 6th – he should play his last game in May for Leinster.”

HOWEVER.

“The Zebre game is a great chance to catch a glimpse of how life after Brian will look. Also It’s an early K.O. (after work pints will never taste as good).”

Wedgie!

For a chance to win the tickets just complete this sentence:

If I was currently Brian O’Driscoll’s agent my advice to him would be ____________________________
