It’s the question everyone (outside Tralee) is asking.
Why did Rozanna Purcell, above, a favourite to win Miss Universe, only end up with a top ten position?
After carefully analysing this handy slide-show, we are now satisfied that Rozanna’s decision to go the full `Krystal-orange’ was the fatal one.
Go on. Have a look if you don’t believe us.
Not you, Karl. Them.
The ‘readers’,
The Dark Side Of Amy (Ken Sweeney, Irish Independent)
*Also starring Orlaith Rafter, Simon Delaney, Allen Leech, Rachel Dowling, Owen McDonnell, Sophia Brosnan and Peter Gaynor.
Grainne Seoige, GMTV-bound, mind-altering beauty and, let’s be clear, recession-turncoat, threw RTE a bone yesterday. But no sooner had she promoted auditions for the All Ireland Talent Show in (Ha!) Montrose than she was being whisked off in a big car for a posh lunch somewhere expensive. With English telly people, probably. It’s far from that she was reared. That’s for sure. Oh yes indeed.
Fuck.
She’s never coming back, is she?
We’ve got Xpose and Suin from the Nuacht and Claire Tully from Joe.ie. Take that, UK-bound presenters!
At the launch of the 2010 Mister International Ireland competition at Mantra nightclub on Friday were the startled, Glenda-esque model Louise Kavanagh, and Martin Guilfoyle and Aidan Deegan (who are competing in the ‘Non-tan’ division). The finals are on August 26. Our money, as usual, is riding on Daithi O’Se. Don’t let us down, a chara!
