French graphic designers Lucie Thomas and Thibault Zimmermann create meticulous paper sculptures for luxury brands, books, magazines, their own amusement and yours.
A new exhibition of works by artist Li Hongbo at Klein Sun Gallery in New York.
The sculptures, based on traditional Chinese paper gourds and constructed from thousands of sheets of paper into configurations that twist and elongate in any direction, often take the artist months to complete.

Two months ago, MOMA Poet Laureate Kenneth Goldsmith launched an insane ambitious project wherein he asked contributors to print out the entire web. Said he:
If you printed the internet, reading it would take 57,000 years, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week non-stop and if you read it for 10 minutes a night before bed, it would take 8,219,088 years. We begin on July 26th.
Ten tonnes of printed material is now on show at an art gallery in Mexico City.

Hanoi-based artist Nguyễn Hùng Cường creates origami animals (among other things) with a type of Vietnamese handmade paper called Dó.

Papercut
atJapanese papercraft artist Nahoko Kojima carves elaborate, meticulously detailed animals, textures and natural scenes from single sheets of paper, which she displays encased in acryllic sheets and as 3D artworks.
