seanIs he missing a wallet, the careless tyke?

Well, when he finally gets up out of that bedroom…

David Pearse writes:

“I picked up a black leather wallet on Sackville Place (near O’Connell Street) with this age card in it after the match [All-Ireland football final] on Sunday. Also inside is a bank card and a DITSU [Dublin Institute of Technology Students’ Union] ENTS card.”

Anyone?

But his [Minister Brian Hayes’, above]  support for the movement stops there, as the Minister believes social media means “people are really at home in terms of making their views known about what the Irish Government is doing”.

Speaking to the Irish Times last week, Michael Noonan siad:

“So in very simple language, if I don’t bring it back I have to find something like €360 million elsewhere.

Noonan added, “when local Government and lobbyists were sending in their pre budget submission, they might suggest who I tax instead to get €360 million”.

However,

An ITIC report states that the cost for restaurants, hotels and tourism visitor fees to the State has cost €90m.

The 9,000 jobs created in tourism and hospitality has saved the Exchequer (welfare bill) €123m.

Noonan’s figures of 15,000 jobs overall then has saved €205m.

Yay!

Not so fast…

[Reporter]: “Six episodes of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ were shot in three weeks. Was that a gruelling experience?”
[Liz O’Donnell]:”It was. There were late nights, early starts and we worked right through weekends. You had to be “camera ready” at 6.30 each morning, which is no mean feat for women of a certain age.
Also, filming took place during the summer heat wave, which was just horrific. I remember we were in Cavan town one day and people were just sprawled out in the shade. It was like Calcutta.”
