An early influx of Glastonbury-bound bands means this week’s gig guide is front-loaded. So if you’re not Stone Circle-bound or heading to the Cork Marquee gigs, the xx’s gig on Wednesday is the best overall lineup of the week with the superb Mount Kimbie and Jagwar Ma on support. It might be a bit weird in the O2 though.
If you’re looking for a cheaper option, there’s Youbloom, a random festival supported by Bob Geldof of largely unknown acts playing around the city from Friday to Sunday.

If anyway has spotted this beauty or has seen any peaked cap scumbags rodeo’ing into the night on it, please let me know…
