Behold: ‘The One’ by Alabama based electric hog manufacturer Curtiss Motors, formerly Confederate Motorcycles, perhaps wisely rebranded.

You may recall the outré Curtiss Zeus.

Available as a One production model and a limited edition ‘Founders’ variant celebrating the maker’s 115th anniversary, ‘The One’ has a slim, aircraft inspired, machined aluminium monocoque chassis, which – combined with 87bhp and 163Nm of torque – would tend to make it somewhat nippy.

Yours for €64,000 (+shipping), or €95,000 for the Founder’s Edition.

From a 2018/19 MoMa (New York) exhibit exploring the global reach and surprisingly elegant concrete forms of Communist-era Yugoslav architecture. To wit:

Situated between the capitalist West and the socialist East, Yugoslavia’s architects responded to contradictory demands and influences, developing a postwar architecture both in line with and distinct from the design approaches seen elsewhere in Europe and beyond. The architecture that emerged—from International Style skyscrapers to Brutalist “social condensers”—is a manifestation of the radical diversity, hybridity, and idealism that characterized the Yugoslav state itself.

Behold: the 1977 Lamborghini Countach LP400 Periscopio – exported to Australia and purchased new by Rod Stewart who was touring at the time.

One of three Countachs owned by the singer, this one – in classic rosso with a tobacco leather interior – was modified extensively over the years, spending most of its life in the studio where Stewart wrote ‘Blondes Have More Fun’ before being sold on in 2002. In 2013, a third owner had it restored to its original condition.

Yours for between €750,000 and €900,000.

Or you could have something similar in blue.

In production since 1957, the Sportster has long since been the Harley Davidson of choice for customisers.

This take on the 2019 XL1200CX by Taiwanese builder Winston Yeh features upgraded brakes, switchgear and suspension, dual pipe exhaust, one-off tail section, tank, and oil tank cover in black-on-black marbled carbon.

Easy now. It’s just for looking at.

Behold the 2017 Alfa Romeo Disco Volante Spyder – one of 15 special edition ‘modern interpretations’ of the legendary 1952 Disco Volante experimental racecar. This vehicle, with a 450bhp Ferrari-derived 4.7-litre V8 engine and a six-speed paddle-shift transaxle was the last of seven based on the original Competizione Spyder.

With one careful owner and a modest 3,540km on the clock, it’s yours, complete with car-cover, documentation and its own bespoke luggage set, for an unspecified amount, on request.

Behold: the 1970 Dodge Charger ‘Hellraiser’ – a heavily modified one-off created by SpeedKore for actor and comedian Kevin Hart. Reclothed in blacker-than-black carbon fibre, fitted with a 1000bhp supercharged 7.0 litre Hellephant crate engine and a bespoke interior with a custom sound system, it’s horrific, obviously.

Unless you like this sort of thing, which Kevin Hart clearly does.

So good luck to him.
