In Fairness…
atI was driving through South Carolina after Easter and passed a pretty nicely named town. Made my friend take a photo when we passed the road sign. Thought you guys might get a kick out of it.
Pisces: a massive 10,000-balloon sculpture of the monster Typhon from the Greek legend of Aphrodite and Eros by New York artist Jason Hackenwerth, recently unveiled at the Edinburgh International Science Festival.
Three unfortunate staff members spent six days inflating the huge somewhat-too-adorable-looking-to-represent-the-terrifying-mythological-Typhon-but-hey-just-look-at-it spiral.

Two of a series of pictures taken from the top of the 4,400 year old Great Pyramid at Giza by three Russian tourists last week.
Climbing the pyramid has been illegal since 1951 and is punishable by up to three years imprisonment. The tourists, who weren’t caught, claim they saw signatures in many languages engraved on the stones at the top, including that of a Russian tsar.
The photos went viral after being posted on the LiveJournal page of ringleader Vitaly Raskalov.
The three have since apologised for their actions.

Photographer David Orias combines slow shutter speeds with precise camera movements to capture these remarkable views of the Pacific waves off the coast of California. Sez he:
I am often asked where the colors on my waves come from. I shoot mostly at dawn and the geography of the location allows higher ambient light levels before the full illumination by the sun. Colors are created by different weather conditions, amount of clouds, or even smoke in the air from local wildfires which are often prevalent.
