During Saturday’s Brazilian Serie D (fourth division) game between Aparecidence and Tupi – with the game tied 2-2 – Aparacidence’s masseur, Romildo Fonseca da Silva (aka “Lefty”), stepped into the goalmouth.
And then ran away. Very fast.
Final score 2-2. The ref refused to allow a goal and an understandably incensed Tupi management has vowed to challenge the decision in court.
