And it’s still going up apparently.

The Irish Independent reports:

“Number 8 Mather Road in Mount Merrion was put on the market early this month for €445,000 but after just two viewings auctioneer Owen Reilly put up the price by €100,000 to €545,000. And the price keeps rising. The latest offer on the property is around €625,000, the estate agent confirmed.”

Faye writes:

I know ye don’t usually do this but… My cat has gone missing. Her name is Suki and she has been missing from the Riverside/Sycamores area in Kilkenny City [Co Kilkenny] since tlast Saturday. She is a long-haired tabby with a white chest and white paws. She is just over a year old so is still quite small. She is missed desperately.

The independently-produced Irish feature film ‘Trampoline’ has won the Best Narrative Feature award at this year’s Williamsburg Independent Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York.

The small Irish drama set and shot in Tipperary – about Angie Corbett returning to her hometown after getting a teaching job at her old secondary school – was made on a budget of less than €1,000.

It was written and directed by Tom Ryan and produced by Claire Gormley.
