Pyramid House: a ‘visualisation’ for a recent architectural competition by Mexican architect and 3D artist Juan Carlos Ramos. The multi-level interior features a library, balcony, garage, two bedrooms, and recording studio with one entire facet of the pyramid glazed – or since we’re in the realm of conceptual architecture here – sealed with a triangular force field.

Five (of eleven) illustrated words for things that have no one-word translation into English by Ella Frances Sanders of Maptia.

The one-person chopper you always wanted and must have right this minute, conceptualised by Spanish graphic designer Héctor del Amo.

Well, sort of. Concept art which will be given out by Marvel at next week’s Comic-Con in San Francisco to tease next year’s Iron Man threequel (or fourquel if you include The Avengers).
There’s no context or explanation offered. But it looks nice.

City in the Sky is an architectural concept featuring the high-rise structures of a ‘future London’ inspired by the lotus flower. Uploader TsvetanT sez:
The project started in London with few companies and artists invited to create a vision for the future mega developed city. The overall “Megatropolis” project didn’t make it to its final stage but the concept grew into this architectural utopia and animation.
“City in the sky” is a concept about a tranquil oasis above the mega developed and polluted city where one can escape from the everyday buzz, stress and dirt.

A concept Jaguar XKX electric roadster designed by Skyrill Studio and Marin Myftiu and inspired by the Jaguar E-type (1961-1975).
The body of the XKX is covered by a layer housing microscopic ripples of piezoelectric cells, which, stimulated by the pressure of the air flowing over them (the actual air friction experienced by the car) produce electricity that is fed back to the vehicle’s battery, increasing both efficiency and performance.
It also has ‘disappearing’ side mirrors.
