I know you don’t normally do this…but this cat (above) has decided to make us his owners…a trip to the vet tells us that he is from London, which begs the question, how is he in Stepaside [Dublin]?
The vets are trying to get in touch with the vet in the UK and the owner, but the owner’s numbers are ringing out. If any one recognises him please get in touch.
Anyone?
And do you have a Krtek/rubber duck keyring?

“This lovely boy was rescued from Darndale [Dublin 17] yesterday where it seems he’s been sleeping rough for two weeks. He’s an absolute gentleman who seems very sad and matted and sore. Keeping faith that he wasn’t just dumped and that he has an owner out there looking for him. If anyone recognises him I’d be delighted to hear. Will bring him to the vet this morning to see if he’s chipped.”

You may recall a post from Wednesday about Scottie, who was stolen from outside Superquinn in Lucan, Co. Dublin.
Well.
He’s BACK!
Dublin SPCA writes:
“We are delighted to let you all know that Scottie the stolen terrier has been found. He was handed into our shelter in Rathfarnham yesterday and the owner has come straight up to collect him. We will never know what happened between Scottie having been taken and his return but the main thing is he is unharmed and on his way home. Thank you all so much for sharing we strongly believe this has resulted in Scottie being found.”

I know ye don’t usually do this but I’m keen to reunite an owner with their missing, and expensive, GPS. I found the Garmin device near Lugnaquilla on Saturday. It had probably fallen out of a bag and was possibly run over by a car as the screen was smashed.
Despite this, it still appears to be working – albeit in need of a new screen.
Anyway, when I looked at the memory stick there were a couple of selfies of this guy (pic attached) on it. I have tried twitter but nobody has gotten back to me…well apart from one lad who thought it was Paul O’Connell!
UPDATE:
Happy days. Found the owner of that GPS. Cheers to all who retweeted and a special thanks to @broadsheet_ie
