Behold : the Jet Capsule Royal Version 001 motorboat – 8m long, fully enclosed with a bathroom, wet bar and leather seats for nine passengers.

Bigger and more luxurious than its already fairly luxurious predecessor, the Jet Capsule comes in various configurations with single or dual Yanmar diesel engines paired with a Rolls Royce jet drive. Top speed is a very nippy 62 knots but for leisurely cruising, two Torqeedo electric engines spin the boat along at a more environmentally sensitive 12 knots.

Yours for about €250,000.

AHOY much?, etc.

Behold the Vripack Rock Explorer Yacht – a luxury cruiser described by its Dutch designer as ‘the SUV of the sea’.

Behold: the Draper from Land Ark – a high end mobile home complete with boot room, kitchen, utility, full sized shower room, various cleverly integrated nooks, cubbies, benches, wardrobes and a cosy sleeping loft – all finished in whitewashed pine. Yes it does look like bit like a Jawa Sandcrawler.

The Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury SUV – an all electric (750bhp with a 310km range) concept that will almost certainly make it to production.

Currently launching at Auto China 2018, the silhouette trades the regular SUV hatchback for a sedan-like notch and split rear window.

Inside, perched on white leather upholstery with rose gold accents, well-heeled rear seat passengers can enjoy tea or coffee from the central console.

Or in their lap, on certain stretches of Cavan/North Meath.

Behold: the the 377-foot Oceanco Tuhura superyacht – inspired by the design of hollowed-out Polynesian canoes but fitted out in luxurious teak, gunmetal, and bronze with a hybrid Azipod CRP propulsion system capable of 18 knots.
