On Wednesday, we posted Dublin band Porn Victim’s excellent video and song tribute to the Trip To Tipp entitled ‘A Fabulous Weekend’.
Using archive footage, it celebrated the return of the festival to Thurles this weekend.

25 years ago the young people danced on the sacred soil of Semple Stadium.
Will Leahy and JJ Hartigan look back at Ireland’s first real attempt at a multi-day music festival outside Dublin or Cork with contributions from Stuart Clark, Tom Dunne and Michael Lowry (boo hiss) to name but three.
