When it’s a four panel kinetic sculpture.

The Evolution Door by Austrian designer Klemens Torggler opens and closes at the slightest touch, folding aside like origami, without crushing your fingers in the process (unless perhaps you’re using the steel one).

For now, the Drehplattentür (flip panel door) remains a prototype.

A completely hatstand fixed-gear bike by Paris based design outfit WLWC (Watch Life With Curiosity), which, sez they:

…originates from the concept of reclaiming mass produced and generic objects and re-issuing them as individual and unique pieces.

The stealthy looking beast – which took 90 hours to hand-build – has a lightweight aluminum frame, cinelli handlebars, carbon fiber saddle, hand machined titanium brakes and bespoke pedals, all clad in scales from four reclaimed crocodile skins.

It costs €14,700.

UK vehicle builders Attitude Autos’ adult sized, drivable version of the classic Little Tikes Cozy Coupe, constructed on the chassis of a Daewoo Matiz, stripped, remodelled and repainted in the trademark red and yellow livery of its plastic progenitor.

Unlike the original, this one is capable of what one can only assume to be an utterly terrifying 70mph.
