A stop motion timelapse from filmmaker Jeff Frost combining 300,000 photographs taken over the last two years: from riots and decomposing roadkill to optical illusions painted by himself inside abandoned buildings. The film – vaguely intended as an exploration of ‘creation and destruction’ – was made without graphics or visual effects.

It’s quite the visual treat and, if you can spare 12 minutes, well worth watching right to the end.

Raymond C Lai’s surreal tale of two brothers taking a stand against gangs and customers reusing tiny roses in glass tubes as crack pipes at their cartoon corner shop.

Starring  Randall Park (he of Veep) and Dwayne Perkins of Late Night With Conan O’Brien.

It’s 22 minutes long and best approached as the pilot for some class of a mad sitcom.

Just saw the FAI submission video for Euro 2020 [above]. It’s just Failte Ireland’s ‘Meet in Dublin’ video from a couple of years ago [below] with some football scenes tacked on.

Seems a little strange.

A timelapse of the Catalonian capital by MyLapse (in the style of Ross Ching’s Empty America series) featuring views of the city with all the people and vehicles removed.

The effect is probably executed via a combination of timing and digital editing in much the same style as Ching’s videos, explained here.
