The menacing, Don Baker harmonica-howling title sequence for upcoming Irish indie feature The Late Men is a finalist in South by Southwest’s (SXSW) Film Design Awards Excellence in Title Design Competition.
The no-budget production is competing against the likes of 21 Jump Street, The Avengers, and Skyfall.
The sequence was designed by director Van Poynton and produced by Luke Page.
The Late Men*, an apocalyptic crime thriller starring Baker, Stephen Cromwell and Tony Murphy, and produced by Page, Poynton, and Ciarán Fogarty, is currently in the final stages of post-production.
