Meet Derek, Aoife and Steve. Eddie,

I hope you have seen our latest 20 second ads currently running on T.V. for Dublin Bus. I work for an advertising company that is trying to change perception of public transportation in Dublin city and was wondering if you have any interest in posting our latest mockumentary style video? Its an amalgamation of our 20 second ads with some extra footage. People genuinely seem to like it and the guy who plays Derek (above) is an absolute genius.

Some fanatics from Ohio,
Lashed out at their old-fashioned foe.
It strikes me as weird,

“Politics and politicians must lead by example and must lead the change. We deserve better and we have a right as a people to be angry with the circumstances we face in this country today.”
A pre-election Colm Keaveney TD, Labour Party Chariman.
The Irish Daily Mail this morning (not available online) reports that Mr Keaveney has hired his wife Deirdre as his parliamentary assistant (52k per annum) against Labour Party guidelines and without advertising the job.
Conspiracy theorists may question the story’s timing given Keaveney’s remarks about a snap election earlier this month.

I don’t know if you’ve been made aware yet but Twitter has opened itself up for translation into Irish, just like the system FB used about 2-3 years ago. It’d be a fantastic help if you could post it. Is mise le meas.

You’ll glove this.
Hi-Fun’s gloves are Bluetooth headsets — or, well, handsets — with the speaker built into the thumb and the mic in the pinky, so you can talk by doing the traditional “call me” hand gesture….Hi-Call will be out in the beginning of October, just in time for the cold weather. It’ll run you a not particularly cheap €49 for the pleasure of speaking into your pinky
