In 1991, sports car enthusiast Ken Imhoff started building a Lamborghini Countach in the basement of his house. In 2008, he ‘excavated’ it.
He’s since sold the Lambo and ‘given his life to Jesus Christ’. Sez he:
The car started out as a mission without GOD in my life. It was an exercise of human self-centered, egotistical, selfishness that just about ended my marriage and losing our home. The car at this point was a constant reminder of what I have done and I just wanted it out of my life.
Ken is currently building a 1953 Studebaker.

Further to Bank of Ireland’s new €5 ‘because we can’ fee.
Oskar writes:
What Bank of ireland neglect to mention is this – a flat fee customer was paying €11.40 per quarter for 90 transactions. The same 90 transactions will now cost me €23 as the new structure is 20c per transaction plus a €5 ‘maintenance fee.’ Now I am lucky enough that I can afford this, but with things the way they are I think a 102% increase in price is a disgraceful way to treat consumers, many of whom are being hit by mortgage increases as well.
